Why do I have dandruff?

- A hormonal imbalance : Our hormones control our sebum production. When they become unbalanced, they can increase sebum production and thus increase the appearance of oily dandruff. - Hard water : If you have dandruff and itching , your shower water might be the culprit! If your water is hard, it contains too much calcium and magnesium ions.
